The owner of this car had a love affair with her, and mechanically and cosmetically restored her at a fully documented cost of more than $40,000 over 6 years! The car was repainted, the original British racing green having been discarded and replaced with a gorgeous Gray metallic. The paint is excellent with great shine and depth. The interior of the car is excellent. The tan front seats and carpets were redone, and are superb. The rear seats were rarely used, and as such are in excellent condition. The dash is excellent, with no rips or tears, and the Burl Elm veneer has a nice 24 year old patina. A new headliner has been installed. The body of this car is extremely clean, and straight with door gaps and panel fit as from the factory. Chrome and stainless shine nicely and present well. The car received a new master cylinder, front brake rotors, calipers and rear brake pads. A new A/C compressor, steering rack, exhaust system including catalytic converter, new shocks, bushings and ball joints! As stated earlier, all of this work has been fully documented and performed in the last 6 years. The car runs, drives and stops as it should. Power windows, power locks and power sunroof all operate properly. Exhaust is quiet and rattle free. The front and rear suspension are both tight. The climate control works well, the air conditioning blows cold. She is a comfortable car to drive and handles well. This is possibly the nicest and best maintained XJ6 Jaguars on the market today.

The occasion was commemorated by a special "Collector Edition" Corvette. Exclusive to the Collector Edition was a frameless hatchback supported by gas struts making access to the storage area much easier. In addition, a distinctive two tone silver-beige (#59) paint was also part of the Collector Edition with a gradient or "fading shadow" motif on the side (above) and hood (below). The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this extremely rare 1940 Pontiac Deluxe 8. A total of 1,353 Pontiac "Silver Streak" cabriolets were made for 1940, in both Deluxe 8 and Deluxe 6 form. Just twelve remaining examples of the Deluxe 8 have been accounted for. This 3-owner car was the subject of a mechanical and cosmetic restoration in the 1960s, is an excellent driver and has wonderful patina. The fit and finish on this car looks to be original, and is excellent. The body panels are straight and the shut lines are good. The car was last painted in the 1960s and the enamel paint, though shiny, is tired, with checking and blemishes apparent throughout the car. The overall impression of this car for most everyone who has seen her, is that of a strong driver. The bright work on the car is good, the bumpers having been re-chromed at some point. The cars’ stainless trim is straight and very nice, showing mild patina in some areas. Lights and signals all work correctly. The body welting is crisp and clean. Emblems appear to be original to the car and show some patina. The hood ornament has some stress cracks, though it's something of a minor miracle it has lasted 70 years! The cars’ glass is in excellent condition and the rubber weather stripping and window welting is in good condition as well. The wheels shod with period correct bias ply tires are in excellent condition, as are the chrome hub cabs and trim rings. The soft top is in good condition, though some staining is evident. The top mechanism works as it should, and its chrome is excellent. The rear glass window is in good shape. This car looks as good with the top up, as it does with it down. The interior was redone at some point, and the red vinyl seats are in nice condition, plush and comfortable with good support. The door panels are covered as well, and the carpets are in excellent condition. The wood grained faux finish on the dashboard is worn away. The car has a modern Nakimichi radio/cd stereo, installed so as not to interfere with the character of the car. The steering wheel is in excellent condition. The "WeatherChief" deluxe heater and Cigar lighter option are all operational. All instrumentation and controls are working correctly except for the clock. This Pontiac Straight Eight engine starts easily and runs perfectly. The motor was rebuilt at some point, and the engine compartment is nicely detailed. The 3 speed, on the column manual transmission, shifts smoothly and the clutch works as it should. The car runs down the road very well. All mechanical systems work, she brakes’ well, tracks straight, runs very cool, and motors along with no issues. The car comes with some interesting paperwork, including its original registration, key envelope and maintenance card. The Classic Car Gallery is proud to offer this elegant 1965 Mercedes-Benz 300SE Convertible. This was the top-of-the-line Mercedes convertible of the era, with special features such as extra sound deadening, extra chrome-plated brass trim, powerful three-liter aluminum engine based on the last-series 300SL Roadster, and self-leveling air suspension. Just 708 examples were made over the entire production run from 1962 to 1967. This is a very rare car. She was recently the recipient of a thorough cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment by Red Line Restorations of Bridgeport, Ct. Red Line is well know for their many Pebble Beach quality restorations. She was taken down to bare metal, all panels were straightened and aligned. One of the finest paint jobs we have seen was applied, and the car shows a mirror like finish. All door and panel gaps are excellent. The chrome is likewise excellent. New tires were installed, the air suspension valves were replace, the air pump and hoses were all refreshed, the brake were serviced, as was the fuel pump, power steering pump, steering box, motor mounts, and fuel injection. The interior is in excellent condition. The carpets are new, the front leather seats have been reupholstered while the rear seats are original, and are in fine shape with a great patina. The black convertible top is new. The wood instrument binnacle and dash top trim were stained and clear coated. The wood is beautiful. We have recent receipts for over $30k documenting the work done. This unique, elegant car is a joy to drive and offers wonderful performance. The last of the truly hand built Mercedes, this long legged cruiser is happy around town and cruises effortlessly at 80 mph with amazing grace.

Mechanically and cosmetically restored in 2000-2002 by Automotive Restorations in Stratford, CT, this matching numbers car is finished in stunning Red with Black interior. The body is straight, the panel fit being far better than factory specs. The rebuilt 4.2-liter motor runs beautifully, and the twin SU crabs are tuned to perfection. A Mallery Unilite ignition system was installed when the engine was rebuilt, greatly reducing the “Lucas Factor”. A modern upgraded radiator and auxiliary fan do an excellent job of cooling the car, eliminating a common XK trouble spot. The rebuilt, original, fully synchronized transmission shifts as new. The rear differential was likewise rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced. The suspension was rebuilt and, where applicable, all bushings, rubber, shocks and bearings were replaced. The brakes, hydraulics, exhaust likewise were all renewed at the time of the restoration. The interior is in excellent condition. The black leather seats, black carpets and black leather dash were all redone. The convertible top was also replaced, and is in excellent shape, the top mechanism was restored as well, and works as it should. The car runs on beautiful wire wheels, and new Avon radial tires. The underside is excellent and shows well. This car is extremely well sorted - simply turn the key and she fires immediately and idles beautifully. The sound of these cars cannot be replicated.

Originally a California car (still on a California title), she retains ALL of her original sheetmetal (Floors, Rockers and ¼ Panels). Currently she is fitted with the 383 stroker V8 engine, Tremec 5 speed transmission, Holley shifter, and a 3:73 rear end. (The original, matching numbers, 327 engine is included with the car.). The hood is from an SS. The car is finished in it's original "Marina Blue" (code F) with the correct new Black vinyl deluxe interior (code Z). Just over 1000 of these wood bodied wagons were made in 1932, it's estimated that there are less than 10 remaining stock examples left. This car was the subject of a full nut and bolt restoration in 1989 by Hyannis Restorations in Hyannis, MA. (a renown shop specializing in Pebble Beach Cars). The car has traveled less than 1000 miles and remains in show room condition. The car is finished in factory correct Winterleaf Brown with black fenders and correct red spoked wheels. Being a late '32, this Woody has Passenger Car headlights, and radiator cap, as well as a very desirable 20-louver hood. The fit and finish of this wagon is truly excellent, the car is absolutely factory correct. All of the car's bright-work is excellent with no pitting. The woodwork is exceptional. Originally built as Japanese market car, she spent the first 12 years of her life in Germany, until imported into the U.S. in 1988. The body was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal (photo documentation is available). Carrera flares, whale tail, and RSR front air dam and oil cooler were added during the repaint. Dupont, Base coat/clear coat, Guards Red paint was expertly applied by A&R Bodywork. The engine is a 1976 3.0 liter. It was built using upgraded cam tensioners, turbo valve covers, S cams, studs, and rods. A Petronix ignition and Bosch race coil fire the spark plugs. She runs very strong and puts out around 240 horsepower. She is cooled by an 11 blade fan. The transmission was completely disassembled and rebuilt. A Sachs clutch, pressure plate and new throw-out bearing was installed. A Weltmiester short shift, cold start valve, and thermo-time switch were installed. The motor exhales through a stainless steel SSI headers and a dual B&B Exhaust. The wheels are genuine Fuchs, 7 & 8 inch, shod with new Michelin XGTV/24 Sport tires. The entire brake system has been completely restored. New rotors, master cylinder, rebuilt calipers and new pads were installed using all OEM Porsche hardware. The suspension was completely rebuilt using Koni shocks, turbo tie rods, turbo ball joints and turbo bushings. The interior was restored as well. The black sport seats were done in black with red inlay and red piping. The black lightweight door panels were done in the same black with red theme. The car has a new headliner, and custom white faced gauges. The stereo is a Clarion CD/ radio head unit with Alpine 6” door speakers. Less than 500 miles has been put on the car since the restoration, she is very well sorted, and drives as well as she looks. Very few miles were put on the restoration, and the car has been in storage for the last 4 years. We have comprehensive books, records and photographs of the restoration. The original 4 cylinder engine was rebuilt, as was the 4 speed transmission and clutch. A new exhaust system, new wiring harness, new signal lenses, chrome and new rubber trim was also installed. New floor boards constructed from marine plywood and beautifully finished were bolted in. A factory deluxe steering wheel was sourced and installed. A new heater box was also installed. New brakes, including rotors and calipers were installed in front, as well as new drums and linings in the rear. The body of the car was media blasted during the restoration, and very little filler was used. The car was painted, using PPG Concept 200 base coat clear coat, in 1984 Ferrari Red. The frame was painted using a rust inhibitor. The paint is excellent. The car was assembled on all new body mount, with all new rubber trim. New leather seat covers, using high quality top grain cowhides in the original period correct patterns and tan color, were installed, as well as new carpets. The dashboard was recovered in the same material, and all switches and gauges work as they should. Halogen headlights were installed in 2003. A brand new windshield, new in the box side curtains, and a new top, finished off the restoration. This is a superb car both cosmetically and mechanically. The Classic Car gallery is proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1948 Packard Super 8 convertible. This beautiful car underwent a full frame off restoration in 1995 by Frank Habricht of Palm Beach Florida. At the time, the original numbers matching straight 8 engine was fully rebuilt, as was the original 3 speed manual transmission. The interior is like new, with buttery smooth leather, and new carpets. The car was driven less than 3,000 miles on the restoration, and was mothballed in the late 90s. When we bought the car, we had to install all new brake hardware, including, drums, wheel cylinders, and brake master cylinder. In addition we installed a new carburetor, and bled and recharged the unique hydraulic system. The convertible top is as new, and extends and retracts with authority. The radio and the clock do not work. The odometer shows 49,000 miles, but we do not believe this to be accurate. Though the electrical systems work, the car includes a brand new wiring harness from Wiring Unlimited and 2 car covers. The car drives as well as she looks. This is undoubtedly one of the finest Packards available. Own a beautiful piece of automotive Americana.

The interior is in excellent condition, the leather is supple and unblemished with only slight wear on the drivers bolster. The dash has one small crack in the top. The carpets are clean, the rear cargo carpet is not faded like most 944s, the front seats are not thrashed, the rear seats look untouched, the door panels are in excellent condition. All ancillary components work as they should and the wiring is factory and unmolested. The car comes with a Pioneer radio CD player. The car has been serviced within the last 7000 miles, when it received a new timing belt, water pump, balance shaft seals and tensioner, and clutch slave cylinder. We have receipts for these repairs. We have replaced the front brake rotors, installed new pads and inspected the rest of the car. The engine has the aftermarket throttle cam, which increases the engine throttle response. The suspension is nice and tight and the transmission shifts well, the car drives beautifully. This car needs nothing, except a new owner.

This beautiful GTO Convertible underwent a restoration 4 years ago and has full PHS documentation. The detailed rebuild was extensively documented with both photos and receipts. The car has been driven less then 1000 miles since, and shows limited wear. The chrome is bright and beautiful, interior is new, paint is spectacular. The motor is detailed & fresh and the underside of the car is superb! Standard equipment includes Power Steering, AM/FM Radio, Console Mounted Tachometer, Under Dash Gauges and Rally Wheels. The rebuilt power plant is a correct date coded V8 400 Cubic Inch 355 Horse Power Motor with a 4 Barrel Carburetor and original date coded TH400 Automatic Transmission shifted through a factory his/hers Hurst shifter. The engine was rebuilt to the highest standards, with fresh pistons, rings, and bearings. The head was assembled using hardened valve guides (allowing the use of unleaded fuel). New mufflers and new Delco power brake system complete the drivetrain. Also at this time, the suspension was rebuilt, and all pieces stripped an painted, new shocks were installed. The interior has been redone, the color having been changed from the original red to the current black. The seats show as new, the door panels are done to factory spec, and the car has the proper wood trim on the console and correct steering wheel. The convertible top is in good condition, and the power top mechanism works as it should. The car has new B.F. Goodrich Comp T/A radials mounted on correct Ralley wheels. This is a stunning car that drives as well as she looks.

The NEW 727 transmission shifts through a torque converter with a 2800rpm stall speed. The correct “Slap Stick” shifter, easily puts the incredible power to the road through the 8 ¾ inch rear, with 3.90 gears. Brand new American Racing rims and new Dunlop Qualifiers finish off the exterior of this car. The interior is finished in the correct black vinyl and the car retains the original stereo and a period 8 track cassette player. All suspension bushings ball joints, tie rod ends are NEW. Summer is here!!! We at the Classic Car Gallery can think of no better value in a fun summer convertible than this 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL. With just 65,000 miles, this beautiful low mileage car is in fabulous condition. The gold paint is excellent, we would give it a rating of 9 out of 10. The car has been fitted with European Style headlights which include the euro “city lights”. The brown leather interior shows very little wear, and the leather is smooth and supple. The A/C blows ice cold, and all the instrumentation works as it should. $4300 was spent in the last 1000 miles on the installation of new brakes including calipers, pads and rotors, along with new catalytic converters and climate control servos. This car is a pleasure to drive. A classic Mercedes ready to enjoy.

This pristine 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser is finished in White over Grey. This truck has been the recipient of a ground up nut and bolt restoration. No expense was spared during this rebuild. The exterior white paint is near perfect and the interior has been done to the highest standards. The truck has benefited from a COOL CRUISER lift kit and shocks. The wheels are M/T rims shod with INTERCO Swamper tires. The interior has been painstakingly restored, the seats are beautifully covered and finished, and the floors have been covered with the finest wool carpets. The center console houses a MACINTOSH 406 head unit, and MACINTOSH MPM 4000 power meters put in at cost of more than $7000. In addition, a KENWOOD touch screen navigation system was also carefully integrated into the cabin. An aftermarket PRESIDENT air conditioning system was installed, and blows extremely cold. This truck could not be duplicated for twice the price, and stands as the nicest FJ40 we have ever seen.
