In 1969, the Mach I replaced the GT as the Mustang Performance Leader. Everything about this car said speed and performance. Stripes, and scoops told the street that the Mach I was ready to fly. This 1969 Mach I Super Cobra Jet has had a High Quality Professional Repaint for $18,000 in 2006!!! The rest of the car is original and in perfect shape. It still retains all its original original drivetrain!!! The interior is in excellent condition, the original seats showing only slight wear in the lumbar section of the drivers side. The door panels have been recently replaced, and new carpets installed. The dash has a very well done cap installed. All exterior metal, with the exception of the left rear quarter panel, are original. The front fenders are original and have the original codes on their tops. The motor is the original numbers matching with matching correct date codes, as is the transmission. The car has a non original ram air hood and scoop, but we have the original intake manifold which comes with the car.
