Summer is here!!! We at the Classic Car Gallery can think of no better value in a fun summer convertible than this 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL. With just 65,000 miles, this beautiful low mileage car is in fabulous condition. The gold paint is excellent, we would give it a rating of 9 out of 10. The car has been fitted with European Style headlights which include the euro “city lights”. The brown leather interior shows very little wear, and the leather is smooth and supple. The engine runs beautifully, and the transmission shifts smoothly. Both the hard top and the soft convertible top are in exceptional condition. The wheels are in wonderful condition, and the tires show very little wear. The $1100 Alpine stereo with 6 disc changer is an excellent replacement for the anemic stock sound system. The A/C blows ice cold, and all the instrumentation works as it should. $4300 was spent in the last 1000 miles on the installation of new brakes including calipers, pads and rotors, along with new catalytic converters and climate control servos. This car is a pleasure to drive. A classic Mercedes ready to enjoy.
