This 1972 Plymouth Road Runner tribute is one of the finest restorations we at The Classic Car Gallery have ever seen. The car is a 1972 Plymouth Satellite with a full Road Runner package. The frame-off nut & bolt rotisserie rebuild was just completed and is correct in every way. A true level 1 restoration, every nut and every bolt is NEW. The car was painted Sublime green, at a cost of more than $20,000. The paint has a mirror-like finish and is flawless. The body is all original as are the doors, floors, trunk and fenders. The shut lines and gaps on this car are perfect. The underside is as nice as the top and shows as NEW. The correct 440 engine with a single 4 barrel carburetor runs beautifully and offers stunning performance. The car runs a Purple 509 Camshaft, 906 heads with 10:1 compression. The NEW 727 transmission shifts through a torque converter with a 2800rpm stall speed. The correct “Slap Stick” shifter, easily puts the incredible power to the road through the 8 ¾ inch rear, with 3.90 gears. Brand new American Racing rims and new Dunlop Qualifiers finish off the exterior of this car. The interior is finished in the correct black vinyl and the car retains the original stereo and a period 8 track cassette player. All suspension bushings ball joints, tie rod ends are NEW. The car has the Road Runner factory “Air Grabber” hood. The car has NEW traction bars, and runs air shocks in the rear. All of the Road Runner options are on the car, including the horns, and all stickers. This car is built to near 100% factory specifications, the only non original parts are the headers, traction bars, wheels and shocks. This car truly is as NEW, and offered at a fraction of the $80,000 build price.
