This car has a wonderful history. It is a one family owned car, originally purchased by a Ford Factory engineer directly from the factory. The car is in excellent original condition, retains its original 351 CID engine and automatic transmission and has the factory original RAM air hood. It is not restored, is very original and has a wonderful patina, and has been well maintained. DOOR PLATE AND OPTIONS; - 76D MUSTANG convertible with bucket seats 351-4V ENGINE - 4B GREEN GOLD METALLIC - CA BLACK KNIT VINYL BUCKET SEATS - 9” rear end with 2.75 AXLE RATIO - FMX AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - RAM AIR HOOD We have extensive documentation and invoices for the car going back into the 80's. The car has her original Medium Bright yellow (code 6E, her original color), it has nice depth and shine, and shows some checking, as would be expected on a 51 year old car. The engine compartment is stunning. The 351 cid V8 runs strong, and has good power and torque. The RAM AIR is correct and works as it should. She was optioned with power-steering, power brake and ram air car. The underside of the car is original with no issues. The interior is original and the Black Knit vinyl seats are original and in nice condition with little wear. The dash is in great condition. The Black convertible top is in great condition and the electric mechanism works as designed. The wheels are original and in nice condition.
