The car has a clean NEW YORK title. Built by specialist Vintage Speedsters in California. The car is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically, and is in near show quality condition. Built on a 1964 Volkswagen chassis and utilizes a mid 1970’s 1600cc engine. The new BLACK paint is spectacular, with a mirror shine and deep luster. The body panel fit is excellent and the build quality is high. The car really looks like an original Speedster. All of the trim is new and shows as near new. Porsche trim and badging is used around the car. The car comes with both a NEW BLACK CONVERTIBLE TOP AND SIDE CURTAINS with a partial tonneau in tan canvas. This 356 Replica will be welcome at all the local car shows and cruise-ins and will attract attention wherever you go. The tan interior is new and looks stunning and gives the car a truly vintage look; the Seats are comfortable and in excellent condition. Black carpeting is also in good condition. A Nardi style wood grain steering wheel with emblem horn button completes the look. The heat works well with the original VW vents in footwells. A strong, 1974 1600cc engine with dual carburetors powers this Speedster and is mated to a 4 speed transmission; the car drives well with good positive shifting and good power and torque.
