1968 SAAB 96 V4 “Well restored, well sorted. One of the finest!!!”

The car on offer here is this beautiful 1968 Saab 96 V4. The car was the recipient of a full restoration in 2016 and remains in excellent condition. Finished in sand beige, the paint is excellent and all trim and rubber was replaced at the time. The interior is excellent as well; the seats have been upholstered in a Burberry style fabric. The dash board and instrumentation were restored at the time and look in near new condition. All of the chrome accents including the bumpers, mirrors, hubcaps, and grille were restored. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and the transmission has had a recent service. The odometer shows just under 47k miles; The True mileage is unknown. The upgraded 1.7 liter Saab engine starts easily, idles well and gives noticeably more power and torque then the smaller original engine. It is up to date on all services. Work in 2016 includes, but is not limited to the following; - Cylinder head machined (2016), - Head gaskets replaced - New battery - New modern alternator - Heads ported - New clutch and flywheel - Transmission bushing replacements (2022) The car comes with many detailed service records as well as manuals and other literature.
