1974 TRIUMPH TR6 “RESTORED, FULLY SORTED, LOVELY!!!

The car on offer here is a beautiful restored 1974 TRIUMPH TR6. The car was the recipient of a nut and bolt, documented restoration in 2003-04; an open checkbook was used and the quality of the car is self-evident. Having traveled only 3616 miles in the last 17 years, the car remains in wonderful condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The British Racing Green paint is excellent, with deep shine and luster, the underside is as clean as the topsides, and the engine compartment and trunk are nicely detailed, clean and tidy. The TAN vinyl interior was restored as well including seats and carpets. The wood dash has lovely veneers and looks better than new; all instruments are in excellent condition and work as designed. During the 2004 restoration she the car received the following; -Engine Rebuilt by Marque specialist Carlquist Competition engines. -Machined Crank -Mid Cam -New valve train -New Pistons -New Valves and springs -New rocker assembly -Fully blueprinted -New water pump -New timing gear -Electronic ignition system -Aluminum fan shroud -Rebuilt Transmission and differential by Quantam -Mechanics including synchros, bearings and seals -Restored/rebuilt suspension including all shocks, -bushings and ball joints -New top and tonneau cover -New seat belts -New brakes including rotors, drums, calipers, brake lines, master and slave cylinders -New clutch, and clutch hydraulics -Restored seats, carpets and dash -Minilite style wheels -Body taken to bare metal, and repainted in British racing green, (originally Sienna Brown). -Recent Caswell coated fuel tank and new fuel sender -Recent full tune up. -Stainless steel exhaust system -Polished intake manifold -Ceramic Coated exhaust manifold -Rebuilt alternator All of the work has been fully documented with a photo diary and all receipts and documentation. It has its original jack and manual. As can be seen from above, every part of this car was attended to. It has been 16 years since the restoration, and the car remains in wonderful condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The convertible top is excellent; the radio has been removed. It recently received a Carburetor tune-up, fluid change and new fuel lines from back to front, new fuel tank sender and a rebuilt alternator. This is a fast car; It runs and drives as well as any TR6 we have seen. This car is the real deal and needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner/collector.
