The car on offer here is a fully restored 1964, chrome bumper MGB, with original splined hubs. Completely restored from 1999-2002 by an owner restorer who was fanatical in his attention to detail and correctness during the process. The fanatical nature of this restoration cannot be overstated; and the car remains in wonderful condition. A comprehensive day by day restoration diary comes with this car; every detail is covered! The car has only gone 1646 miles since the restoration and has held up very well; the car remains in show condition. It is finished in Black with a Red interior and represents the best of the early MG Bís. The restoration included a total strip down to a bare shell and recieved a rotisserie repaint. The underside is finished in epoxy and is in near showroom condition. At the same time, a total engine and transmission rebuild was completed, and all ancillary parts were replaced throughout the car, including, but not limited to, the drivetrain, suspension, braking, electrical and all other systems. No aspect of the car was left untouched. Everything has been rebuilt or restored to the highest standard. Upgrades include chrome wire wheels and spin on oil filter. The underside of the car is as finely detailed as the top and is certainly better than when it left the factory. The wiring harness is correct and all electronics are excellent. The years have been kind to this car, as it remains in wonderful near show condition. The chrome is near new as is all of the rubber trim and the red interior shows well; the car is a stunner from any angle. The car is certainly one of the finest on the market today. It is currently in turn-key condition and needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner.
