The car on offer is a stunning 1966 Shell Valley 427 COBRA.The car was originally purchased as a kit in 2003-2004, and was PROFESSIONALLY assembled using a FORD 427 Big Block engine. The chassis is the standard Shell Valley kit, featuring a Mustang II front suspension, 11 inch brake rotors with GM Calipers, and 9 inch Ford rear end. The kit was professionally assembled in 2005 by Gary Daniels at Cobra Motorsports in Columbia CT. The paint is spectacular from her sensuous curves down to the custom touch of an airbrushed Carroll Shelby mural under the hood. This is a professionally built Cobra, and it shows. She has traveled only 7030 miles; not enough to show much wear, but enough to be well sorted and reliable. The 427 CID FORD FE was just rebuilt by know high performance specialists Grasmere Inc of Fairfield, CT. The engine was built to a very high level with FiTech Fuel injection and Mallory ignition; the motor puts out over 500 HP power and 470ft/lb of torque. The car makes an incredible sound through the Hooker type headers and side pipes. The power is put to the road through a 5-speed Tremac manual transmission. This is a STRONG RUNNING CAR, AND NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART.
