Jaguar 1950

XK120

Body Style: Convertible
Exterior: Grey
Interior: Burgundy

The Classic Car Gallery is offering this superb 1950 Jaguar XK120, possibly one of the most beautiful and iconic of all Jaguars. The car received a comprehensively restoration 20 years ago and has been driven less then 3,000 miles since. The engine was converted, in period, to a 3 ½ liter XK 140 spec, and was topped with the desirable C-Type head. The four speed transmission shifts well, and all syncros work as they should. The Grey paint shows beautifully with excellent depth and shine. The red leather interior is supple and unblemished. All chrome and trim is excellent. The car comes with a tan canvas top and matching side curtains. All electrical and mechanical systems work as they should. She has been owned by a well known U.S. collector, and has been well cared for. The car has recently had a major service, including a complete tune up, brake overhaul, and a full detailing of the underside. During the service, new chrome wire wheels and wide white wall tires were installed. This car is both mechanically and cosmetically superb.
