The Classic Car Gallery is offering this beautifully restored 1956 Ford Fairlane Customline 2dr sedan. The rebuilt 272 V/8 engine runs beautifully and the three speed automatic transmission shifts well. The engine still maintains its factory detail. The interior was redone to factory original, the stainless trim is in excellent condition, as is the chrome, the floors have absolutely no rust and the trunk still has the original trunk mat. The excellent paint has no blemishes or orange peel. The original radio is with the car, as do all accessories. The brakes are excellent, and the suspension is in as new condition, and rides on a set of rear air shocks The car is a very nice cruiser that drives well and has tremendous curb appeal. The trunk comes filled with trophies from local car shows, which attest to the cars condition. A beautiful example of a mid 50s cruiser, all she needs is a new owner.
