The car on offer here is this excellent 1956 Ford Thunderbird. The 1956 model is often the most desired of the original first-gen T-Birds. It was when Ford included some of the most interesting features.The car is a true classic, the Colonial White paint (correct original color) is in excellent condition with minor imperfections around the car; the red and white interior looks nice, with some seam separation on the drivers side. It is a nice addition to the look of this iconic car. Additionally, the car comes with a white soft top and the porthole hardtop. Equipped with its original 312 cid V8 it is ready to go. The engine compartment is accented with aluminum valve covers, chrome air filter cover and chrome oil filler cap. The 3-Speed manual transmission shifts well and the clutch engages with authority. Documentation includes original bill of sale and extensive list of repair history. The odometer shows 58,553 miles but the true mileage is unknown. The continental kit on the rear and the porthole in the hardtop completes the package.
