1984 FIAT/PININFARINA 124 AZZURRA EDITION, FULL ROTISSERIE RESTORATION TO SHOW QUALITY. THE FINEST ON THE MARKET BOTH MECHANICALLY AND COSMETICALLY!!"

The car on offer here is a stunning 1984 PININFARINA/Fiat 2000 Spider. The car just received a fully documented “body-off” photo restoration, and is probably the finest 2000 spider on the market today. Cars in this price range are rarely restored to this level, as clearly the cost of this type of restoration is many times the value of the finished car. Whoever buys this car will be paying a fraction of the actual restoration cost!! The restoration began with a solid car with all of its original floors and body panels. The car was disassembled and stripped down to bare metal and put on a rotisserie. Every part of the car received attention. The new WHITE paint is excellent, with great shine and luster. The original 2000cc engine has been rebuilt and drives through its original rebuilt 5-speed manual transmission. The engine features high compression pistons (runs premium pump gas) and stock cams; a new clutch was installed. The engine compartment was restored to show condition with all of the proper plating and paint. From the red valve covers to the modern aluminum radiator, it is exceptional! All mechanical systems have been restored or replaced, and the underhood compartment shows better than new. The excellence extends to the interior which has been completely restored, including new RED LEATHER seats, new dashboard veneers, red carpets, restored gauges, and new canvas convertible top. The dash has been covered with new BLACK vinyl with top stitching; the veneers on the dash are excellent. The excellence continues with the underside, which likewise has been fully restored. The brake system has been restored to as-new condition including new rotors, wheel bearings, calipers and brake lines. The exhaust system from the headers back is new as is the fuel injection system. The suspension was upgraded with new KYB shocks front and rear and all rubber bushings, ball joints and tie rod assemblies are new. No stone was left unturned; nothing was left unrestored. The black canvas convertible top is new and the top mechanism is restored and works as designed. A tonneau cover is included as well. The car wears new 15”x7” Competizione wheels with Abarth emblems, shod with new Yokohama Advan 205/50 R15 tires. The trunk has been fully finished and detailed and looks fresh and new. The car has a new spare tire. All chrome trim is new and gorgeous; all rubber seals and trim are new and fresh. The bumpers are polished stainless steel. As can be seen, this car was restored by a fanatic; no expense was spared and an open checkbook was employed. The driving experience is amazing, the fuel injected engine makes great power and torque, the handling is sublime, and the car looks stunning. These cars with the 2000cc engine are a big improvement over the earlier versions of the car, and are practical for modern American roads. Buy with confidence, as this Fiat 2000 Spider is excellent from every angle both cosmetically and mechanically. It is certainly the finest of its kind on the market.
